Long Distance....It Works or Its the Worst?

Well today, I want to discuss something dear to my heart, Yes Long Distance Relationship. Are they for you or not? Many people have pretty good relationship but the one way to test you "undying love" is the distance. Its not as easy as you may think. Some people after years in faithful relationship tend to cheat or think of cheating during the short or long times away from their mates. How do you help make the relationship last? I can't tell you, I am still trying to figure it out myself. lol. But I will say this..... It is hard wanting to trust someone with your everything. Its really religious in a sense because you are going by the faith that your mates is true and is working to do the best they can to be with you so the saying goes" Go by faith, not by sight". How hard is it after seeing that person daily or being able to pen point each others moves. Now in today's economy it is hard for frequent travel dates and vacations, so what do you do? You try building the relationship spirituality but, in the end we are human and the distance eats at the brain in a way, we need that physical connection to stay sane. The only way of staying in the long distance relationship is honesty and to sometimes push the negative thoughts out because they will come trust me. Try reaching your mate at 4am and you cant get them or at 10pm and you can't where as in any other time you could, well now here comes the issues. All you have in long distance relationship is the ability to reach out to one another via email, text, call, skype, facebook or any of the things that help you stay in touch at the drop of a dime. When that ability is taken away by not returning a call or not responding than sneaks in distrust. We are routine people by nature, it is very rare that we change a pattern of life style so when the daily steps are changed it is because something else has taken its place. Now I am not saying this is cheating or lying but, what I am saying something else has become more interesting at that moment that you have reached out to your mate, now this makes you feel insecure and questionable because of the distance. In short Long Distance Relationship in today's techno world can be managed but unless honesty and trust are present too, it will be a long drive until you can get your relationship on track. Try showing your mate that no matter how long the distance that faithfulness is not the issue, try adjusting life for short visit, send gifts, never miss a call or text because some where along the line that other party is feeling alone and reaches out to the closes thing, YOU.  Never second judge, keep you negative thoughts to your self and allow time for things to be clear and just because you are miles a way does not mean the person does not need a break from you every once in a while. Have fun explore your self without your mate, learn new hobbies and when your mate comes to visit it will be well worth the time apart.  Happy Travels!!

How to help your Kid get over small fears

Ok Hello Blog Family-

So I am back again but now to talk about my little princess. About two weeks ago I went to visit a friend and her new pets, well my little girl was so upset she cried and cried. Even after the pets were put away. Well later that night she had a nightmare, it was the worst thing I ever seen. This was the first time I could not calm her down. She scream and cried " Mommy I scared , I don't like doggies, it's cats on my feet, get them off". After I walked her around the house to reassure her we have no pets she set up in bed for about 2hrs in shock. I turned on nick jr. let her dad and my boyfriend talk to her and after all of that she calmed down at 2:30am..GEeeezzzzus what am I told do.. Everyday for the pass week she has told me she is scared of these two pets, which is funny because we have a PIT BULL that is the biggest teddy bear and whom she loves and she goes to visit my dad and chases his fluffy cat. So my question is where did this fear come from? How can I show her she had nothing to fear? Did someone do something to my child? Well, maybe take her to the zoo, pet store, petting zoo??? Everyone said this was not a good idea. Well today I took little miss lady to pet smart and guess what!!! she was great. We started with the fish, I showed her they were in glass and couldn't hurt us.lol.. then that birds and she chirp as loud as she could, the mice and rats I was not to happy about and she was not interested. We got to the cats and dogs it was hard but she did it.. As Dora would say... "We Did It".. afterward she said she likes the fish and still scared of doggies..lol Well we can't win them all. So next week I will buy her a pet fish.. My little two year old princess is growing up. Some time the best way to help your kids with there fears is to let them meet the fear head on and take one step at a time to help them get over the little things.

Is it Just me or are the Republican getting worst?

So I hear that Mitt R. says he did not care about the poor people.. was that aka for the latin and african american race. I mean ok so that makes up like 45% of the voting population.. DUH Mitt you have to care about everyone if you want to win a race. WHO SAYS THAT? The more I hear about this race the more  I think about moving to Canda. Like where are these clowns coming from?  Newt is just an nasty old man who will sleep with anyone he can crawl in bed with to stay rich and Mitt is just a miseducated negro, yes I called him a negro because he is ignorant to what the country really is based off. Let's not forget the poor are those who take the low paying jobs just to get by. I will be honest I will take one of those jobs too..lol Right now we dont have a middle class (Thanks Bush) but we do have a Black President who gets blamed for all the wrong that the men before him did. Lets be smart people. It was a mess so they allowed President O to take over to blame him for it later aka don't let the black man run nothing was the plot for that election. But oh President O is soooo smooth with it.. they should play Michael Jackson smooth criminal when he comes out.. He keeps his smoothness no matter what and you have to respect the pimpin in him for that.. Let some lady put her finger in my face.. OH GEEEEEZZUUUSSS..help me... I tell you.. is it me or are the republicans getting worst????? Your thoughts....

Trying to understand life changes.

Well Hello...... Blog nation,

Here I am turning 30 this july and you know this is the best moment of change for me right now. I have to admit it scares me to think I may not have it all together (duh you don't) but life is ever changing. RIGHT? Well the first thought that comes to mind is : Do I look 30? how is my skin suppose to look at 30? what about my body and how should I think and see things? Well this is a journey all with in it self that I am going to have to deal with in the next six months. Meanwhile, I have a toddler who is trying to drive me insane a ex husband to be who cant be further from the best dad ever!! and a boyfriend who can some times make me wondering about everything all together. I have to ask when turning 30 where do you find your self as a woman?
